Chris Jones seemed a no-nonsense person if someone tried to take a jibe against the Chiefs.
This season, the Chiefs relied heavily on their defense. None of them had the fortune to make more than 30 points against them. In the two vital playoff games, the Chiefs’ defense only gave away 31 points. Jones can certainly claim credit for that.
Chris Jones is a no-nonsense person when it comes to the Chiefs
As things stand right now, Chris Jones seems a no-nonsense person if anyone tries to take a dig against his team. Prior to the Bills, a similar kind of incident happened against the Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase.
Ahead of the regular season game between the Chiefs and the Bengals, the Bengals WR Ja Marr Chase said that the Chiefs’ defense would not be able to stop him, despite being aware of his playing style. Nonetheless, in reality, Chase failed to do much and the Chiefs prevailed.
After the game, Jones made a short video claiming that the WR needed to try more to break the wall against them. It was a war of words between the two that entertained the fans.
