They found them completely by accident. Specialists were just searching for evidence that there were once dinosaurs on the continent. Dr. Marley said that they were shocked by the find and especially by its age, which was about 600 million years old.
He added that back then the first jellyfish had just started to appear and there were no humans on the planet yet.
To date, it remains a mystery what was the settlement of these people of small stature and whether they were a technologically advanced people. The discovered remains have been sent to scientists for further study.
