Rolling intimidation starts with the bike’s imposing stance, now widened for added authority. An aftermarket 26-inch front wheel gets wrapped in a steel fender flowing seamlessly into the frame. But out back is where the Night Rod borders on absurd — boasting a gigantic 18×13-inch rear rim swallowed by a 360-series tire. Widened swingarm components support the pumped rear end now requiring its own area code.
Matching the chassis’ bulked out proportions, the Milwaukee twin receives a supercharger upgrade via Rotrex adding raging power to match the look. Further performance parts include a DGD chain final drive conversion and Arnott air suspension allowing the Night Rod to carve corners easier with its newfound heft. Custom controls like drag bars and rearsets amp up ergonomics to harness the beast beneath.
The bike’s paint accents as fiercely as the engine bellows thanks to a custom red-to-black gloss gradient by Livin Loco. Only the finest details complement this scheme like billet aluminum dash inserts and engine covers bathed in sinister black. Other shiny touches include stainless steel braided brake lines and chrome chain guarding contrasting well against the V-Rod’s murdered-out aura.
In many ways, Australia-based Quality Customs channeled the regional esthetic with their Night Rod creation – big, brash and unapologetic. The “Big Monster” custom exudes exaggerated energy akin to the Land Down Under. From widened stance to supercharged motor, every modification cranks the bike’s presence up eleven. Other V-Rods best get out of its way…
Suffice to say, Quality Customs has built more than a motorcycle — they’ve created an experience. Straddling the “Big Monster” Night Rod means controlling a beast birthed straight from the shop floor. With custom style and power flowing through its veins, this widened & supercharged custom Harley turns heads as fast as it devours blacktop.
