At the heart of this custom Harley is its massive, monolithic front wheel and tire assembly. Fabricated specifically for this bike, it measures a staggering 300mm wide and features a billet aluminum rim that flows seamlessly into the tire sidewall. The overall diameter is pegged at 21 inches – essentially more than double the size of a stock V-Rod front wheel.

The imposing single wheel gives “Sao Paulo” the appearance of a futuristic speed machine or giant powered roller skate. Its polished aluminum surfaces gleam under the sun, contrasting beautifully with the bike’s custom Brilliant Orange pearl paint job. Intricate tribal graphics flow back from the front fender across the fuel tank and rear fender, perfectly accented by the 300mm rear tire.

Since the standard V-Rod chassis is not designed for a 300mm front wheel, extensive modifications were made to accommodate it. The front downtubes were widened, while billet aluminum triple trees secure the axle assembly with help from Öhlins inverted front shocks. An extended custom swingarm out back helps visually balance the imposing front rubber.

To steer the front wheel, the builder fabricated a unique handlebar setup from stainless steel tubing that connects directly to the rim via short links. This allows the entire wheel to pivot left or right without the limitations of normal fork assemblies. Disc brakes provide ample stopping power to reign in the motorcycle’s visual momentum.

As “Sao Paulo” rolled through downtown traffic with its owner in black leather perched on the tuned 1250cc V-Twin engine, our camera was there to document the ride. Surprised motorists gawked at the futuristic machine in their midst, faces amazed at the audacity and execution of this radical custom Harley. Sparkling in the sun, no detail went unnoticed by our lens.

At intersections, photographers captured the full profile of “Sao Paulo” head on with its 21-inch front wheel seemingly poised to steamroll anything in its path. The smooth arch of the chrome swingarm provides balance while the low-slung saddle gives the motorcycle a menacing stance, like a mechanical bull ready to charge.

Side-on shots reveal the intricacies of the brilliant paint scheme flowing back from the front fender, with just enough orange popping visually to offset the V-Rod’s blacked-out engine and dials. The opposing angles and lines blend mechanical aggression with two-wheeled artistry.

As the ride continued, our cameras clicked faster, documenting every square inch of this inspiring motorcycle. “Sao Paulo” draws attention not just for its imposing wheel and custom steering, but the overall finished look – a seamless blend of fabrication work to transform a production Harley into a modern-day mechanical masterpiece.

While clearly not built for casual Sunday rides, the bike’s ornate details give hints of Brazilian culture mixed with New York visual attitude. As our photographer captured perfectly, “Sao Paulo” is a stunning showcase of imagination made real, now immortalized for the ages thanks to images that convey its full essence to enthusiasts around the world. The builder clearly achieved their goal – to stun, inspire and push boundaries with an artistic vision.
